This is the most f*cked up thing I have seen in a while -

I have a Soldier in my unit that has emergent dental care issues - he is in pain and bleeding - we are on orders, and the US Army Dental clinic at our local Fort will not provide him care as he is not yet *acutally mobilized* - How fracked up is that. Where is Congress on this one? Grrrrr.....

"YOUTHS" Riot in suburban Paris!?!?!

According to - you guessed it - our jihad apologist friends at the AP -

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,313024,00.html

My guess is that these are the same "YOUTHS" that rioted in 2005 (actually the same 'hood {IIRC})

MORE INTERESTINGLY - the AP refuses to acknoledge that these "YOUTHS" are probably Muslim Jihadist YOUTHS. Instead opting for the "Diverse" view:

"The trigger for the rioting was the deaths of two teens killed in a crash with a police patrol car on Sunday in Villiers-le-Bel, a town of public housing blocks home to a mix of Arab, black and white residents in Paris' northern suburbs."

Absolutely disgusting. Did Bilal Hussien write tat piece?

I wish the best for those French Cops - Take it to 'em boys.

Black Friday revisited -

Actually it was T-Day - there were nutz from all over Freakville sitting outside of Circuit City, Best Buy and CompUSA waiting for the big Black Friday sales - these strangelings had FREAKIN' TENTS - I swear you'd've thought that they were gonna give away a Wii or tickets to the Beatles or a midnight showing of Indy IV or the just released "Harry Potter and the Wizard is a Batty Boi" Book -

yikes.

I met da boyz today...

Actually MOST of 'em last night - Looks like a supurb group of ruffians, cops and general neer-de-wells...I think that I like 'em - we started training today (small arms) and it looks pretty damn good so far - I have a LOT of shooters, Infantry, MPs, SRT, SWAT, Snipers, MOs etc. I like it - they are cocky and rough and believe it or not relatively well disciplined. I have to walk that fine line with these guys - like a bunch of Mike Vic trained killer dogs - you have to keep your eye on 'em - right up until you let them do what they do. more...

Some things you operators out there might want to think about -

This was sent to me by an allied operator - Flippy - He got it from someone else - no matter where it came from..its good stuff...

And here it is :

I recently saw on another board a phrase I like very much - "We die in the gaps." It wasn't exactly used in the CQB context, but I think it could be, especially with initiative based CQB. Gaps interrupt the flow, the Zen-like water wave of the flood. Gaps leave things needed doing undone.

Wow - Amazingly people scoff at the Constitution.

Talking about several things in class today, I quoted the 10th Amendment - reading verbatim, trying to explain that in my POV the Federal government is (more accurately - SHOULD BE, according to the LAW) severely restricted in its purview. These guys who are sworn to "Uphold and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic" actually scoffed – dismissively, as if the Constitution was subservient to the feel good politics or (dare I say it?!?) the ECOMOMY - grrr....where are we headed?

10th Amendment -

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Pretty simple language to me...hmmm....

Good news that the MSM won't give you

Muslims and Christians attending Sabbath TOGETHER in Baghdad?!?!? Say it ain't so!

Further - they THANK the US of A for making it happen - and they call on Iraqi Christians to return home...

Where is CNN on this?

Reviews!!

Movie: Death Proof / Planet Terror - Grindhouse Double Feature ****

QT and RR ...they DO IT. Very nice pair of flicks. Of course like most other flicks like this - either you love 'em or hate 'em.

Move: The Aristocrats ***

A nice documentary about the most disgusting joke ever. VERY funny.

Movie: Shortbus *

One of those indie movies that is lauded as the best thing since Clerks - only to turn out to be a slightly uncomfortable documentary about people and thier freakish sexual practices. ewwww.

Movie: The Notorious Bettie Page ****

A *very* nice biographical drama of the life and times of America's Puritanical S&M Pinup Girl from the 50s. It is of course a bit racy in spots...but only enough to convey the story.

Movie: V for Vendetta *****

I can't remember if I covered this before - but I had to mention it as I just watched it agian - SUPURB flick....

1 last post before bed - Al Sharpton is an idiot

Regardless of his motivations and his transparent bigotry, he is in fact an idiot. I just regretfully lost three minutes of my life (not to mention IQ points) watching that loudmouth buffoon rant and rave in DC about the "injustices" of the many states policing their own houses. He actually equated the Constitutionally mandated due process of our layered judicial system to the "Confederate States". He implied that those who support that support the 10th Amendment (not to mention the rest of the Constitution) are for nothing more than "States Rights". The sinister implication is that there is an underground (or overt!?!?) movement to restore antebellum values to race relations by steady erosion of civil rights via staunch support of the 10th Amendment.

Rubbish.

Is there ANY possibility that sometimes people are in fact responsible for the crimes they commit regardless of the mitigating and aggravating circumstances? Is it possible that not every violent crime committed against a person of color is a "hate crime"? Is it even possible that when a jury renders a verdict that is not in favor of a person of color (whether victim or accused), it is NOT an indictment of the entire judicial system as being inherently "racist"?

On the other hand - I do understand that racism and bigotry exist. I just do not believe that it is as systemic or widespread as that silly blowhard and his Nation of Islam friends would have us believe. (yes they were there too)

In fact I would ask why the "Jena 6" aren't being screwed into the ground by fat Al for their "hate crime"...instead of being touted as the victims...I still just don't GET that!?!?

Another Day...another type of killing implement....

I gave my first class in instructor school today and the class I gave was on the identification of small arms commonly used by insurgents in Iraq. It went over pretty well...but I think that it was a bit too much for a 15-20 minute class - I have uploaded the ppt and the POI - nothing classified - but kinda interesting to someone I suppose!

Not much to say for now...

My day has been long...and I am in the 3rd day of the Army Instructor Course (a pre-MOB requisite for the mission) and it is not too bad - the really cool thing is that we choose our own class topics for the classes that we have to teach. The Hotel is cool...especially since we have access to the Bally's gym next door... I am looking forward to meeting my troops after Thanksgiving (they are not on orders yet) - a lot to do...a lot to teach them... well...I really have to finish up my first class...I will post more ASAP  Thanks to all for the good wishes and prayers!

SO here we go again...

Well this week I started training for my next Iraq mission. I can't say exactly where I am gonna be or exactly what I will be doing or exactly when I am leaving or returning in this forum...suffice it to say that I will be based in the Baghdad area, but will likely be traveling a bit. I can say that I am an MP in the Army - but most of you already know that. I will be updating this as often as possible - hopefully more than I have been in the past - in fact I am challenging myself to do so - I will give as much info/opinion as I can and post any pics that I can - as long as I am maintaining OPSEC - that being said...

The top 10 things I plan on doing during this deployment -

1) Come back alive and with all my parts

2) Bring back all my troops the same way

3) Take it to the jihadis every chance I get

4) Pass on as much as I can to the IP/IA so that we can all come home

5) Pay off bills

6) finish the book

7) finish at least 1 semester of school

8) not spend too much on BS like hajjivision DVDs or neat guy kit

9) catch up on reading

10) keep my stripes
